DataMax® 10Gig Cat 6a F/UTP Patch Cable
ScTP Return Loss

This performance graph shows considerable headroom between the category cable limit line for Return Loss (red) and the test results charted from the 4 individual pairs making up the sample DataMax® cable. Return Loss measures the reflected energy caused by impedance variations in a cable and must be minimized when bi-directional communication at very high data rates is the goal. A cable with inconsistent impedance throughout its length will have more return loss (signal reflections) leading to a distorted and lower strength signal at the opposite end. DataMax® cables benefit from competent design, high performance manufacturing equipment and inline process monitoring, all leading to an end product with very stable impedance, minimal reflections and the fantastic Return Loss graph seen here.
